This is news that I honestly wasn’t expecting. Harmonix have announced that they will be ending DLC for the Dance Central series after March. Live challenges and leaderboards will still be active, and as long as there is still a community of people who play Dance Central, we at Dance Kinection will still continue! And remember, just because weekly DLC is ending, doesn’t mean that there aren’t over 200 great songs to dance to!

This week’s Dance Central DLC comes courtesy of Canadian artist and former Degrassi star Drake.

Looks like we’re getting a bunch of tracks featuring Rihanna for most of this month! As far as DLC reviews go, I’m not sure how often or when I’ll have a chance to get to them but I want to. I haven’t even had the time to play any of February’s songs yet, but they’re waiting patiently for me on my harddrive. Back to the matter at hand!

Nicki Minaj – “Whip It”

“Whip It” was pretty fun. I’m not a fan of Nicki Minaj, but I’ll enjoy trying to master this song. It’s got a lot of variety but repeats itself enough times that you can learn a lot of it on the fly. It’s a lot of movement and is pretty fast throughout the routine. Definitely worth checking out even if, like me, you don’t like Nicki Minaj.

Hey, folks! Hope everyone’s having a great New Year so far. Sorry for not Party Rockin’. I’ll have that DLC review up soon. It’s been a busy week and I haven’t had the time to write it yet. Anyways, we’ve got Nicki Minaj’s “Whip It” coming, so all of the retailer exclusive preorder songs will officially be out. The next week brings a Pitbull pack with the songs “International Love” and “(Hey Baby) Drop It to The Floor”. The following week, will have The Wanted’s “Glad You Came” and the month will be rounded out by Flo Rida’s “Let it Roll”.
